ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF THASOS
It is located in the largest city of the island,which has the same name, Thassos, Thassos (Limena). is close to the ancient market.
The Museum Museum has collections of unique -in richness and variety- archaelogical findings that date back from the 7th century B.C. to the 7th century A.D. It is considered to be one of the most important provincial museums of Greece. There you can see significant findings from the palaeolithic era to the roman times,revealing the story of one of the greatest Aegean civilizations that once flourished in this island. As you enter the museum, you get stunned by the magnificent Kouros(Κούρος)in the entrance,which was sculpted for the sanctuary of Apollo.Then you can learn the way Thasians lived at each historical period (you can still see the remnants of every epoch scattered all over the island).You will also marvel at the creations and culture of the first inhabitants of Thasos as you'll have the opportunity to learn more about the use of ochre in ancient “paintings” on stone, found in Kastri(Καστρί) and the palaeolithic mines( discovered in the location Tzines(Τζίνες)).You''ll be undoubtedly amazed by the prehistoric jeweleries and thrilled from the story of the ancient olympic champion Theagenes,as the legend of the Olympic Games will unfold before your eyes.
The museum is open all day,from 10a.m. to 7p.m except Mondays.

MUSEUM VAGE
It is located in the village Potamia and is dedicated to the renowned sculptor Polygnotos Vages(1894-1965),who was a distinguishing artist in America and had been working on the technic of direct sculpting on various stones. At the museum there are many of his works on display.

FOLKLORE MUSEUM LIMENARIA
The museum is at Limenaria , in the centre of the village. There you can see many exhibits,such as ancient objects that were used daily,clay pots ,traditional costumes,photographies and much more.
It is open every day,at afternoon.
FOLKLORE MUSEUM THEOLOGOS
This museum is housed in a two-storied public building in the centre of the traditional village Theologos.
It is divided into two places: at the first floor, there are displays related to the industries of the island and the second floor is appropriately decorated to look like a traditional Thasian house.
It is open everyday,from morning to afternoon.
FOLKLORE MUSEUM KALLIRACHE
The folklore museum Kallirache is housed in a beautiful preservable manor of the 1880 in the centre of the village Kallirache.Its interior represents a replica of an old local house and it is decorated with traditional furniture,various objects and handwoven clothes and textiles.
